TBFFA Sportsbook Week 3 Fall 2014 --alright Mario....

TBFFA Sportsbook Week 3 Fall 2014

Vendetta                           -21 ½                     Imara

Vendetta fell by the thinnest of margins to Blaze 28-26. They will continue their tour of B Division with a stop at Imara. The over-confident newbies snagged their first win of the season against Enigma, taking an early lead and then holding on for an 18-12 win. The Book believes this will be a case of the young-uns not knowing what hit them. Lightning strikes Imaras end zone.multiple times.

Suped Up                          -30                           Imara

It can indeed go from bad to worse for Imara when they face a Suped Up squad that jacked up What 1 35-19. Imara, if theyre still standing, is going to learn that lightning does indeed strike the same end zone twice..multiple times. Forget someone to mow the lawn. Larry is going to need to hire asphalt pavers to cover over the A-Division-created crater at Imaras goalline

What 2                                 -60 ½                    Southern Fye

Lets get ridiculous and say that the very experienced What 2 is not done flexing their muscles after vaporizing the Expendables 48 to donut.  Southern Fye had the last week off and they probably spent it searching high and low for their missing offense. This matchup looks to be as ugly as Medusa getting plastic surgery done by a blind doctor. Halloween comes early to Field 1.

Expendables                            +11                      Commission

Last weeks mushroom cloud that Xd out the Expendables was brought to them courtesy of What 2 48-0. This band of Humpty Dumptys will try to put themselves back together again when they face Commission. Commission rebounded from their opening week loss to de-Mean Mean Machine 27-19. The Book thinks they may kick the Ex-Men while their down. The court stands adjourned.

Mean Machine                     +3 ½                          Enigma

The two B-Division bottom-feeders will face each other for the right to escape the seller in this weeks Toilet Bowl. All is not well in Enigma-land as Wolfes gang got pucked  by Imara 18-12. The Books spies even caught some of Imara snickering about the ease with which they built their first half lead. The Book has to believe that Enigma will make Mean Machine cry Wolfe.

Blaze                                      +9                                    Techs

Is it truly too early to say this is a must game for both of these teams? Even though Blaze was a micron better than Vendetta last week are they back to being the same Blaze we all know and love? What about Techs? They have not seemed to be themselves since the Capn (Aaron) retired. They dropped a 14-6 defensive slugfest with Revenge but have seemed kind of meh! One of these cornerstone franchises is going to have to rediscover their storied past to reclaim B-division.break out the old VHS tapes, Jinky and Felipe!

Revenge                               -18                                  Stealth

Stealth faces its evil twin in this game. Rarely has the Book seen two teams that seem to be built along the same lines facing each other. Revenge is still stuck in second place even after throttling Techs 14-6. Stealth spent last week in Basic Training with What 1 again, finding brand new ways of getting torched to the tune of 33-7. This game also marks the return of Super Mario to his old stomping grounds with Stealth. How will Mario react to knowing that Spirit knows all his little foibles, fancies, and habits? Will the Stealth defense recover in time to keep Mario from 1-Up mushrooming their end zone? Stealth has made it a policy to not let returning traitorous players enjoy immediate success in their first meetings after defecting to lesser privileged teams. Sorry, Joe Namath, youre so 45 years ago. No guaranteed victories here!  :P

Vendetta -21 ½ Imara - Suped up said spread doesn't matter, 54-0,
What 2 -60 ½ Southern Fye - SF saved by the spread.
