These are the teams that are fighting for the last 2 spots in B. Every team on this list is STILL ALIVE pending some results from this past Sunday. Right now, Bombers are virtually assured of getting in and ADT is pretty much eliminated unless they beat Fusion this weekend to stay alive. Polo Field has the inside edge for the final playoff position but only because of points (not sure about the head-to-head tiebreakers between these teams). I said it from the beginning: THREE wins will get you to the dance and that's pretty much what it looks like. Make it happen!

The inside edge:

Bombers have a brick wall in Ballin'. Not looking good there but I still think Bombers get in.

The BATTLE:

Polo Field and Slow Pokes slug it out and the winner SHOULD (but not necessarily WILL) be sitting in the #8 slot for B. The playoffs for these two teams pretty much start right now.

Making the Move:

TK Express stuns Techs and has all the momentum a team in its position could want. They now face the Expendables and the winner here will also put the heat on Bombers and the winner of Polo/Pokes.

Desperation:

Desperadoes face the current #1 team in B - Dark Knights. They have the plays to match them but will they have enough players? If they take down DK you could look at 4 teams at 3-6 looking at the 7-8 spots.

N Hawks take on DD which is #2 in B. They have to win AND win big...margin of victory is huge now.

Avengers/Enigma: The winner of this game stays relevant for one more week. But whoever wins this game REALLY needs to win their last game to make it matter.

ADT: if they're still alive, needs to fend off Fish N Grits to even have a shot....that's if they're still alive...


And to the 4-4 teams....Battalion, Blaze, Sho Nuff, and Regulators: NOTHING has been clinched...losing out could mean finishing OUT of the playoffs which is still a long shot but could happen. Don't look in that rear-view mirror; something could be gaining on you!

Mike,

last I checked it was the bottom four teams not eight that don't make it.

So theoretically we have a chance.

We win this week against enigma, then get the 17-0 forfeit from the regulators.

If it is the bottom eight then it wont matter what happens.

But I do believe its bottom four.

I heard that the top 8 go to A and the middle 8 go to B. The bottom 8 go home. You still have a chance, especially with the scenario you mentioned but you have to do it NOW!

It is only 8 and 8, because there are so many teams! We hope to stun the techs and claw our way into the p[lay-offs

Let me put in concrete terms for you, Wolfe. For a team in your position you guys have an awesome point differential. Your differential is better than Bombers, Expendables and Desperadoes. If those 3 teams lose next week AND you win, you're in the playoffs as the #8 seed. If Slow Pokes also lose by more than 7 points you could even go in as a 7 seed. It's not impossible but you need help. You're the only 2-7 team that has a realistic shot at getting in. The others' point differentials are too large.

Oh we definitely know that Spirit, we have a heck of a team to end the season with too.... So hopefully we can do it!!!
