Both teams lost squeakers last week and this week one of them looks for its second win. This inter-league matchup should be a nightmare for one of these teams. Though the numbers say otherwise we think it will involve a very large fish eating a very small flag football team.
So Hood +12 Fusion
Fusion is the Spring champs and looks to maintain its form versus a similarly undefeated So Hood squad. Both teams coasted to easy victories last week and now have to bring their A-games. So far, over the past season, Fusion has had its A+game. The Fusion express will keep rolling through the Hood.
Brigade +57 Vets
Brigade comes into this game against what has been a very motivated Vets team this season. The Vets were very motivated against an And What team which may very well still be asking the question "And What Just Happened???" after getting annihilated 51-doughnut. They now turn their Death Star laser cannon towards Brigade...may the force be with them...
Sho Nuff -42 1/2 And What?
So far the first two teams who thought they could catch the bullet between their teeth a la The Last Dragon have missed versus Sho Nuff. And What will give it a shot this week after failing to catch the torpedo the Vets fired their way last week. Can Sho Nuff sho the rest of the league that they mean business?
Bad Company +9 Enigma
These two teams try to stay playoff relevant this week. Bad Company, the offshoot of Bombers, has only been bad company for "W"s. They gave it a good try vs. Montellie's before bowing 31-24. Enigma has also been an enigma, getting taken out by Desperadoes 21-7. Will Wolfe will his team to a wonderfully wily win or will Bad Company force them into Chapter 11?
Dark Knights -22 1/2 Battalion
It was supposed to be a glamour matchup in B but Blaze shot that down, taking apart Battalion's proud defense in a 27-6 beatdown. DK spent last week vaporizing the Not-So-Mean machine 56-6. Battalion hopes to regroup against Rodney and his new free-agent acquisition, Hollywood. The laast time these two teams met it was a good old-fashioned shootout with Rodney barely outdueling Cody 27-26. Expect similar fireworks in this one. Bring the popcorn and the flame retardant pjs!
Despoes -39 Mean Machine
Desperadoes look to deal out some more misery to a Mean Machine squad that was all kinds of incompetence last week, getting avalanched by DK and their Steroid Offense 56-6. Despoes de-fanged Wolfe and his enigmatic team, Enigma 21-7. Mean Machine needs to either find an offense/defense or hire someone to plant an inception into the mind of the Despoes captain to throw the game.
Blaze -43 1/2 The Expendables
Blaze has become the Immovable Object with the top defense in the entire TBFFA right now after holding Battalion to 6 points. That was the first TD this season they've given up. They put the Blazin' Wall in front of the Expendables this week, who put up a spirited effort versus So Hood. Will the Expendables expend more energy in vain or will Vince pull out his fire extinguisher and put out the Blaze?
Montellie's -6 1/2 TK Express
Montellie's has been flying under the radar so far and takes on an equally quiet TK Express team. Both teams have seemed very efficient and basic in their wins so far. Who takes the chance and comes up with the big plays in this one? An evenly matched game this appears to be.
