Techs                             -3                         Legit

Techs opened up its season in the usual fashion by dropping its opener to What 20-13. Now that they are off everyones radar they can quietly begin re-compiling their championship strategy. Legits marketing department is in full swing after beating up on fellow newbies Southern Fye 19-12. Legit shows good team speed and was just faster to the ball than SF. Now that they are so supremely confident (and making sure everyone knows it) they get to prove their mettle against last seasons defending B-Champions. Its hard to call this game pivotal for Techs since they showed that it doesnt matter to them where they get seeded. If there is any risk in falling asleep for this game the Book is sure Legit will be thumping their chests loudly enough for Techs to get the win.

New Era                          -8                      Vendetta

Which team wants to get off the mat first? New Era will try to hit reset on their season after getting filet-o-fishd by the original Fish N Grits 19-12. Vendetta will also check to see if they have recuperated from their season opening snake bite at the hands, erfangs, of Venom 27-12. New Eras fans are beginning to suffer from amnesia, trying to remember those heady glory days of New Era dominance. Vendettas fans are just trying to remember.um..wins.

Venom                       -8                     Fish & Grits

It is an early season battle of undefeateds as Venom will attempt to lay up its 12^th consecutive A Division opponent after going undefeated within their own division last season. The world champs will have a chance to abuse the latest pretenders to the throne, FNG. Can the Fish hook themselves a snake in the grass or are they just another fish in the sea for Big V?

Athletes                    -12                   What

Another fascinating game as the two top teams in B square off for the top spot in the junior circuit. Athletes found the Expendables to be quite expendable 32-13 and What slipped by the B champ Techs 19-12. The Book doesnt think the Athletes have been tested yet and What will have its league-leading defense on the field instead of the mirage the Athletes saw last week.

Blaze                         -3                      Stealth

The other game in B matching up two undefeated teams should be no less exciting. Blaze resisted having a bad dream by waking up Nightmare 24-19. They get a chance to continue their wily ways against Stealth, a team who has struggled against them in recent matchups. Stealth set the scoreboard on fire last week shaking off a pesky Commission team 32-30. Can they put up any sort of D versus Blazes pedantic, move-the-chains style offense? Will Blaze grind the Stealth D into dust, an unfortunately all-too-common occurrence?

Commission                     -3                    Nightmare

Commission has a golden opportunity to kick a team while they are down. Nightmare finds itself in unfamiliar territory: near the bottom of the division. They can, however, get healthy against a Commish defense that has proven to be the Sun Pass of B Division. Just drive down the field and the end zone will open up, no charge. Commish can win this game if Secret Agent Randy shows up at the helm for QB. The odds fall precipitously if he doesnt.

Penetradors                    -5                 Southern Fye

Southern Fye appeared technically capable in their franchises first game ever last week. They look for their first win versus a Penetradors team which got squeaked by Revenge 14-12. Right now the Pen are clinging to the last playoff spot and SF is trying to take it away. Well see who has a better grip this week.

Expendables                   +11                 New Outlawz

The preseason C-Division favorites find their whole world turned upside down after getting put at the bottom of the division by Athletes. They begin their climb back to the world of the living by taking on New Outlawz who beared little resemblance to the previous iteration of Outlawz, getting dropped by Public Enemies 20-12. Can Joe right the ship out there in the Badlands? Does Gio have the scouting report on Expendables?

Revenge                            +6                   Public Enemies

Revenge has done a good job of refusing to fall apart after their pre-season nuclear meltdown and have grabbed a share of first place as a result. Now they get a chance to strip Public Enemies of their share of the top spot. Public Enemies turned New Outlawz into their own private playground, pushing them off the swing 20-12. Will Revenges league experience keep them on the winning track or will PE treat them like a Rebel Without a Pause?
