Fusion                  - 3 ½                      Enigma

Fusion puts its hot streak on the line against Enigma this week. Both teams put up impressive wins versus the weak sisters in the league but hey, thats what good teams are supposed to do.  Fusion finds itself in familiar position A Division, and it hopes to hang around for awhile. Enigma is sitting as the number 2 seed in B but needs to regain its swagger. Last weeks win should help there but this week should prove tougher.

Blaze                    PK                        Techs

Both teams should be renamed the Houdinis since they are disappearing from playoff relevance at an alarming rate. Last week, Blaze got slapped all over the field in coughing up a win to INIT2DINK&DUNKIT. Techs was similarly bullied into allowing a last second touchdown to Nightmare to similarly snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Which team has gotten over their hangover? Well find out Sunday

Expendables                -7 ½              INIT2WIN IT

Expendables pretty much played their way into the playoffs with an impressive 1 point victory over What. They now have to guard against complacency versus a desperate team that finally figured it all out in winning their first game. Can I2I look the X-Men straight in the eye and steal another victory without batting an eye or will the Expendables be more dependable in the consistency department and X-pel  these upstarts from playoff-land?

Fish & Grits                PK                    Mean Machine

The Fish-meisters got hooked last week by Battalion by an ungodly score of 47-12 but several of the Fishs star pupils were absent from class so no one really knows for sure if the Fish are really that rotten or simply swimming in smaller schools. Mean Machine was put in a sleeper hold last weeksalvaging a lonely touchdown before passing out to Mayhem 34-7. M&M would love to pull the Fish out of the playoff pool and down to their level. If Fish can show up then they should really make the Machine melt in their hands.

What                +25 ½                      Mayhem

What is a 50 foot metal pole standing all alone in a grassy meadow during a ginormous thunderstorm. And its Mayhem that will be doing the striking this Sunday.  What lost a squeaker against the X-Men while Mayhem squeezed the snot out of Me(diocre) Machine 34-7. What needs this like a 6 year old needs a bathroom after a 72 ounce Slurpee at the movies. The Book has a feeling Mayhem will make What go all over themselves.

Knights                  -13 ½                  Desperadoes

The Knights were pulled off the field in order to avoid mass ejections after getting a little too emotional with the manhandling they got in da Hood last week. They hope to regain a little composure against the rotting carcass formally known as Desperadoes. The Despoes got disposed of by the Men of Mystery 24-6 and seem to have little fight left in them. The Knights have ludicrous speed and may wear the Despoes out by a big margin this week. Warp speed, engage!

Nightmare            +8                      Battalion

Nightmare pulled the ultimate PSYCH! against Techs by pickpocketing a victory at the last minute. They bring their sleight of hand over to meet white-hot Battalion.  Battalion filet-o-fished an undermanned Fish & Grits team to win their 5^th in a row. This game has all the hallmarks of a playoff preview. Can Battalion and Super Mario fill Nightmares playoff stockings with sunshine and rainbows or will the Mare slash Battalion for a loss?

Revenge                 -15 ½                Autobots

Revenge got a well-deserved week off after sweeping a doubleheader last week to win last weeks Hey, look at me!!! Award. They get to continue their vengeful ways against an Autobots team that continues its auto-destruct sequence after getting transformed into a big, fat zero by Fusion last week 32-0. Can the Bots muster any sort of offense (or defense) to slow down Revenge? Or will they continue playing like a bunch of Bumblebees?

So Hood                       -7                    Mayhem

The matchup atop Mount Olympus features the latest in the Clash of the TBFFA Titans. So Hood has been unstoppable, going all gangsta on the Knights last week 30-19 and having the contest stopped before being accused of child abuse in the process. Mayhem has been motoring quietly along, sedately vaporizing all opponents in its path. There will be mayhem in the hood, folks! Bring your popcorn, hide yo' kids; hide yo' wife, because this is going to be a classic.
